Sotanghon Soup with Patatas

Yummy with patatas pa..





Recipe is katulad ng alam nyo,may dinagdag lang na sangkap..ang patatas

Ingredients.3 to 4 servings

Rice noodles or Sotanghon..Mga isang dakot ang dami..blanch para maalis ang plastic wax na coated sa noodles
Chicken meat..200 grams okay na siguro.
Gulay,you can use any green veggies you like..i used pechay baguio..(like Bitsuelas,Cilantro or kinchay,etc)
Minced Garlic ..1/4 cup..or isang buong ulo ng bawang..
Minced onion.
kaunting hiniwang luya/optional
kaunting hiniwang carrots
2 large Potato , sliced into cubes pieces
Soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Atsuete powder /pangkulay
Cooking oil

Hiwain ang mga sangkap


Ang hilaw na sotanghon ay ibabad sa tubid ng ilang minuto at kapag malambot na buhusan ng mainit ng tubig,hugasan at salain para maalis ang plastic wax na nakabalot sa noodles..not healthy po kase iyon..itabi muna ito..


Pakuluan ang manok sa 2 cups na tubig,if possible ang unang kulo ay itapon dahil marumi po ren ang manok,ang pangalawang tubig ay gagamiting sabaw sa sotanghon soup..3 cups or more according sa dami ng manok..pakuluan at palambutin,

Kapag luto na ang manok,hanguin ,palamigin at himayin/or hiwain.at itabi muna ang chicken broth.


Gumawa ng atsuete oil at igisa ang bawang dito ,then itabi or maari ng iderecho rito ang pagigisa ..magtabi ng toasted garlic for garnish toppings.


Igisa ang mga sangkap sa kaunting mantika..
Luya,bawang .sibuyas...carrots, manok,sotanghon ,gulay at patatas..
or according sa style ng inyong paggigisa..



 Timplahan ng kaunting toyo,patis at paminta..maaring lagyan ng pangpaanghang..At ibuhos ang chicken broth ..takpan hanggang sa maluto..



Para medyo madilaw o makulay ang sabaw ng sotanghon.huwag kalimutang lagyan ng atsuete oil


Then ready for plating ang mainit na sotanghon soup na may patatas...

Simpleng Luto ..Maja Ube

Maja Blanca na hinaluan ng ube..( CUSTARD PURPLE YAM PUDDING)

INGREDIENTS...
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup mashed ube/purple yam
1/2 condensed milk/adjust according to your taste
3 cups coconut milk
1 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder/optional

1/2 cup toasted desiccated coconut..

 Cooking Procedure..
1.In a bowl combine Condensed Milk and 1 cup coconut milk,mix well and set aside..

2. In a separate bowl combine 2 cups coconut milk,1 cup cornstarch and 1 cup mashed ube ,1 tbsp gelatin powder ,mix well..and strain to get smooth batter..

3.And  put the 2 mixture in a cooking pan ...mix the 2 bowl together to have one batter mixture...and bring to cook in low heat..continue stirring ..when you get the right thickness ,they're ready for mold and put in the fridge...and enjoy..


 (sa isang bowl,paghaluin ang condensed at 1 cup na coconut milk) set aside


sa isang bukod na bowl, pag haluin ang 2 cups gata,1 cup mashed na ube 1 tbsp na gelatin powder/optional ito


 Pagsamahin ang 2 mixture ..

Then lutuin sa kawali at haluin..mga 15 minutes siguro or adjust time by observing..


 Don't cook too much ,Kapag niluto ng sobra baka maging halayang ube ito..kailangan ng soft and creamy texture ang maja ube..(Should be look like Custard Cream )


Ilagay sa isang tray ,hulmahin at palamigin sa fridge ng ilang minuto or ilang oras para mabuo at mas masarap kainin..then enjoy..


Sprinkle it with Toasted Desiccated Coconut..

Pinoy Java Rice

        Simple Java Rice( Turmeric Fried Rice )

Java rice with tocino on Top



Ingredients ..

Cooked Rice
Cooking oil or Butter
Garlic
Toasted Garlic (for Garnish)
Onion
Paprika or bell pepper
Salt and Black pepper
TURMERIC
Anato Powder Or Atsuete Oil
Tocino meat or any meat of your choice
Soy sauce

1. Heat oil in a saute pan or large skillet ,over medium heat,Add garlic ,onion,bell pepper.
cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes.
2. Sprinkle with Atsuete Powder to add color to the ingredients,and stir well
3.Pour the amount of cooked rice ,mix them together
4.Add seasoning,Sprinkle with Turmeric powder until rice turns to yellow
5..Add another seasoning ,like salt and black pepper,a little soy sauce or patis is nice too but can be optional, according to your taste
6.Then cook ,by stirring frequently ..

And serve on a plate ,garnish with toasted garlic and fried tocino on top or tocino as side dish.

PagLuluto ng Japanese GYUDON

How to cook Japanese GYUDON..called beef bowl
GYU is beef
DON - means Donburi or bowl...
Dish on top of the rice

so we called it Dish over Rice or Rice Toppings Meal



One of Japanese popular recipe...

Ingredients ..serving of 2

300 g. Beef Sliced soft meat if possible.
1/2 cup water
konyaku noodles/optional if there's no available
1/2 cup kikoman soy sauce
1 large sliced onion/ don't use red onion
1/2 cup mirin/sweet rice wine
3 to 4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp fish powder/DASHI powder
sesame oil

1.First combine 1/2 cup soy sauce and 1/2 cup mirin..set aside
2. sprinkle the sliced beef with black pepper ..
3.then saute the beef in small amount of sesame oil,then add the onion ,the konyaku noodles..
4.add sugar ,4 tbsp or adjust according to your taste..
5.add half cup of water
6.cover and cook until its done,don't dry it leave some amount of sauce in it..
7.then adjust seasoning..

Then ready for rice bowl and put the cooked beef on top of rice ,garnish with green onion or red pickled ginger some japanese adding raw egg in the middle of beef toppings...

soy sauce and mirin 

this is a root crop ..called shirataki or konyaku..it has rubbery texture,chewy like gumi ,no taste but good when mix in variety of recipe.

this is a dashii ,a tiny bits /powdered  form of fish broth..



 Slightly saute the beef in sesame oil then add the sliced onion..the konyaku noodles ,the sauce,water and bring a boil to cook..


here they are,if you leave them an hour
or more, the better taste you can enjoy .



Enjoy this with miso soup and salad green..(A typical Japanese meal style),and hot green tea..while others like drinking beer ,lol
