pork,beef,chicken shrimps pa or fish ..kahit ani pwedeng isigang..
mayaman o mahirap sinigang is the best..
This time,I used Beef chop sliced ( malambot ang part na ito) and beef ribs ( to make bone broth)
soup for healthy bone,,
Ingredients
1 sliced beef chop usually use for steak
5 beef ribs
45 grams tamarind na hinog
1 bunch of water spinach/kangkong
1 medium size onion
1 large size tomato
1 red bell pepper
labanos /white radish
sitaw or green beans
talong /eggplant
salt .black pepper at patis/fish sauce
2 tsp cooking oil
6 cups water
2 siling labuyo or pampaksiw
add okra,taro root/gabi ,mustasa ,puso ng saging ,sigarilyas,bataw .patane ..anything na bagay sa sinigang is okay..sometime i have to add saging na saba..kaso no stock eh
PAGHAHANDA AT PAGLULUTO..
1.As always,i have to remove pink slime in the beef,kaso alam natin di naman fresh ang beef sa market at hindi na ito mapula,which is coated with something chemicals..and we don't want to put it in our mouth..
2.I boil the beef in enough water to cover it..about 2 minutes para maalis ang dirt ..then itapon ang tubig at hugasan sa malamig na tubig..ready na..
3.and i have to saute garlic and ginger in 2 tsp oil until fragrant..or derecho nyo ng ilaga if you're nagmamadali..matrabaho nga naman mag gisa..
just to give aroma to the soup kase ang bawang and garlic,to make alis lansa den..
4..then sa isang kasirola with 7 cups water ,ihalo ang ginisang bawang at luya.adding the beef ,sibuyas at kamatis
bring them to cook for about 40 minutes to tender or depends sa beef na lulutuin nyo..
5..if beef is tender ,add the veggies and the sampalok ,season it with salt patis at paminta..
cook veggies in 10 minutes or more, kung gusto ng half cooked or depende sa type nyo.then last is
kangkong ,para crispy.cook another.3 minutes then ready na.
add siling maanghang kug gusto ..
...in Cavite or sa bahay na kinalakihan ko lang..we usually added red bell pepper in sinigang..tatay ko kase malimit mag luto ng sinigang ,ewan ko kung bakit pero bagay at masarap naman ,masustansya pa..
